We Can Also Set Up Auto Pay for Checks and Cards
Padlocks and keys are furnished with a $30.00 key deposit allowing 24-hour access. Rental is on a month-by-month basis. Statements are sent monthly, and can be paid by cash, check, money order or card. We can also set up auto pay for checks and cards. Unused rent, as well as the key deposit, are refunded upon vacancy, as long as units are empty, clean and undamaged. After hours appointments are welcome.
TIPS FOR STORAGE:
* Place stereos, cameras, television sets, and high value items to the rear of the unit in unmarked boxes.
* Store clothes in clothing bags.
* Do not set boxes on stuffed furniture.
* Box springs, mattresses and upholstered furniture should be stored on end or side on wood slats.
* Do not store food items that are not sealed in glass or metal containers.
* A refrigerator or freezer should be defrosted, thoroughly dry, and stored with its door slightly ajar.
* Some goods can be stored inside large appliances and boxes can be stacked on top of stoves, refrigerators and freezers. Make sure that stoves and cooking equipment are cleaned before they are stored.
* Label boxes and take home a list of the labeled boxes for easy reference when you need to locate your goods.
* Leave a walkway to the rear of your space for easy access.
* Use all the space available, including height, and place frequently used goods near the door.
* Fill containers to capacity. Partially full or bulging cartons may tip or collapse.
* Heavy items like books or tools should be placed in small boxes so they are easy to lift. Pack books flat to protect their spine.
* Protect your fragile goods with packing, such as bubble wrap, and place them near the top of your storage space.
* Never store live animals, perishables, liquids, explosives, guns, flammable liquids or fuels. Drain the fuel from gasoline engines before storing.
* Mirrors, windows and screens should be stored on edge rather than flat.
* Tape doors of microwave ovens, washers and dryers securely.
* You may want to place plastic, tape, cardboard or pallets on the floor to avoid setting items directly on cement.
* Disassemble beds and tables and wrap table legs in paper. If a table will not disassemble, place padding on the floor and place the table on its top with the legs pointing up. Use dresser tops for stacking cartons and dresser drawers for clothing, linens or small,delicate items. Keep upholstery off the floor. Most lightweight chairs can be stacked seat to seat or placed upside down on tables which cannot be disassembled. Polish all furniture before storing.
* Remove batteries from battery powered items.
* Bicycles and tools should be wiped down with mineral oil to prevent rust.
* Do not place items right against the inside of the door as the concrete draws dampness.
* Cover items with light plastic or a cotton sheet.
* Separate insurance can be purchased through our office, or check with your homeowner's or renter's insurance provider to determine insurance coverage.
* Be sure your unit is properly locked when you leave.
